BR 2-31: NEW YORK

8. We love a parade!

     New Yokers love parades and there is one in some part of the city most months of the year.

     St Patrick's Day parade, on 17 March. The longest, oldest, and most famous of all the New York parades. Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, on the last Thursday in Novenber.

     And we will welcome the new year! Late on New Year's Eve, many people go to Times Square. At midnight, everyone sings and dances and says 'Happy New Year!' (96 words / 10,403 words)

     I read NEW YORK. It was written by John Escott. This book is written about New York. New York often called 'The Big Apple'. Because, in the 1920s and 1930s, lazz musicians all wanted to work in New York. 'There are a lot of apples on the tree,' they said, 'but when you take New York City, you take The Big Apple!'
     More than twenty million people visit New York every year. Most of people say it is the most exciting city in the world. I think New York is the center of the world. But I haven't been to there. I want to go New York! (142 words / 10,307 words)

Every year millions of people visit England from all over the world. Why? Readabout the sports and events of the country.


     I read ENGLAND. It was written by John Escott. This book is written about England.

Sports...     English football is very famous in the world. English football is played every Saturday between august and April. The Cup Final in May is a big, important match. I think you know the world-famous Manchester United football team. And English tennis is very famous in the world too. Famous tennis players come from all over the world.

...and events     Two exciting events every year are the Glastonbury Music Festival and the Notting Hill Carnival. The Glastonbury Music Festival is in June, at Glastonbury in Somerset. It's the place to hear pop and rock music in the open air. Notting Hill Carnival in London is on the last sunday and Monday in August.


     I know English football team is very strong! But I didn't know English tennis is strong. I want to go England and watch a football match. (196 words / 10,165 words)

I couldn't find a page of NOAH'S ARK on booklog.

     I read NOAH'S ARK. It was written by Heather Amery. I didn't know this story, but it's famouse story all over the world. Noa was a farmer who lived a long time ago. He was a good man. He worked hard, growing food for his family. Noah always did what God told to do.
     One day, "The people are wicked. I'm going to flood the Earth and destroy them all, except you." said God. "Noah, you must build an ark." he said. Noah and his sons started work. They worked hard very much. They loaded it with lots of food for their family and food for all the creatures. The creatures came. It started to rain when all creatures into the ark.It rained for forty days and nights. Noah said to a raven, "Go and find some dry land." ...

     Noah opened the door of the ark. The sun was shining and the land was dry! And God put a rainow in the sky!

Fumiya Fujii.

     I think music have a strange power. Because I encouraged by music when I was feeling depressed. I took piano lessons for 9 years. So I like listening to music very much. I like a classical music, J-pop and Western music. But I can't sing on key. I don't like singing. So I don't like karaoke. I can't sing a song in public. I feel ashamed. But all of my friends like karaoke. This is my worry. I don't want to go karaoke box! I usually listen J-pop. My favorite singers are clef, Fumiya Fujii, Keita Tachibana(w-inds.). Fumiya Fujii isn't a young, but I like him. I like his songs. My favorite songs of Fumiya Fujii are Another Orion, Go the destance and Girl friend. My mother likes Fumiya Fujii very much, so my little brother's name is Fumiya. (150 words / 9,520 words)

motto

     I write about my motto. I make it a rule to do at least one good thing a day. My aunt said me, my brother and my cousins you have to make something good every day. If you do something good, it is return to you. I believe it! Because I think that it is true what she said. So I always try to make it a rule to do at least one good thing. I think try to be more considerate of others. If I have no inner peace of mind, I can't do something good for others. I want to be a kind person who can do something good for other people. My mother is always concerned about me and my family. Yesterday, I helped a lost child in youme town. I could do something good yesterday. I could be happy. X'mas party

     I had a X'mas party at Iori's home. I and a lot of eibei girls went to the party.  We had the party on last Friday. We enjoyed very much. We eat many kind of food and snacks. And everyone wear a Santa's costume. It was very cute! I spend everyday with eibei girls at school, so they like family!!!

Geminids

     Yesterday, we cought see the Geminids. So I and my mother went to the housetop of my house, but we couldn't see the Geminids. But a night view was very beautiful. My house is in the surberbs. clothing

     I like simple design clothing. I usually buy a black clothing. I think that when I wear a black clothing, I can be fashionable. I think a fashionable person who can look good in a black clothing. I want to buy a black coat, but I can't find a good design black coat. My ideal black coat is not long caot, but it is not short. And my ideal design is black coat with fur. These days, I like knit. There are many kind of knits in the clothes shop in this season. I want to buy a leopard-print knit. I want to go shopping, because I write this sentence! I want to get a black coat with fur and a leopard-print knit. BUT, almost coats are very expensive. Cheap clothing are not so good.      I read The Magic Cooking Pot. It was written by Sue Arengo. A littele girl lives here. She lives here with her mother. They have no money. And they are very hungry. But they have no food in their house. One day, the little girl sits down and cries. But, an old woman come here. And the old woman says 'Don't cry!' But a little girl says 'I must cry, because I'm hungry,' 'Look! You can have this.' It's a magic cooking pot. ' Cook, little pot, cook!' says the old woman. And the pot cooks. It cooks nice hot porridge. The little girl runs home. And she says 'Cook, little pot, cook!' And the pot cooks nice hot porridge. So, her mother is very glad. The little girl and her mother eat porridge evry day.

     I read this book for the first time. I think this story is very nice story. I think that an old woman is very kind person. If an old woman doesn't give her a magic cooking pot, the little girl and her mother can't eat.

yesterday & the end of the year plans.

     I worked part-time job 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. yesterday. I like my part-time job, because member of EVERY is good! Everyone are very funny. Elders are very kind. Night manager is kind for everyone. I want to work more. I want to go EVERY every day. I think EVERY is good super market. Because, there are a lot of uncommon foods.

     I going to work the end of the year and the New Year. But, but, BUT! I want to go to pay the New Year's first visit to Izumi Shrine. And I want to eat the soba noodles eaten on New Year's Eve. And I want to play with my all friends this winter. (120 words / 8,612 words)

Every Japanese people know this story. I think that this story is very famouse all over the world. Do you know this story? This story is written about the enormous turnip. The man has a seed. He puts the seed in the ground. The seed grows. But the seed grows and grows. The turnip is very very very big. The man is very happy. He is hungry. He wants to eat the turnip.The man pulls the turnip, but the turnip doesn't move. So the man need many people! He needs cooperator... This story is good! Please read this one.

ILLUMINATION

HUIS TEN BOSCH.

HUIS TEN BOSCH.

     I want to go illumination spot. I like illumination very much. I think everyone like illumination. Illumination is one of the seasonal thing of winter. But! But! But! I have no boy friend. So I have to go with girls. It have no romantic atmosphere.

     I like HUIS TEN BOSCH's illumination. I went to there last Octorber. Octorber is Halloween season. So there are a lot of Halloween objets d'art and beautiful illuminations. I want to go HUIS TEN BOSCH again in this winter. HOIS TEN BOSCH is the most beautiful illumination spot in Kyusyu. (103 words / 8,299 words)

pineapple juice.

     My favorite drinks are 100 % pineapple juice and 100 % apple juice. I like pineapple very much. I like pineapple flesh and canned pineapple. So I like pineapple taste alcohol drink. The other day, I and my friends went to bar. The bar's name is Bagus. Bagus is Chisato's mother's bar. I drank many kind of pineapple taste alcohol drinks in Bagus. I forget name of those alcohol drinks, but all alcohol drinks are very delicious! Please go to Bagus! I think fruity taste drink and alcohol drinks match my liking. When I have a cold, I want to drink 100 % apple juice, because I want to eat something plain. Apple juice isn't too sweet. So I like it. I like fruity taste drink, but I don't like 100 % orange juice. But I like orange flesh and I like orange to eat. This is without a reason. (151 words / 8,196 words)

BR 2-24: The Ugly Duckling.

This much-loved story is about a little ducking who is different from the other duckings. Everyone laughs at him, animals and humans alike, and only his mum loves him. But when spring comes, he sees his reflection in the water, and .... what a change has taken place!
 

     I read The Ugly Duckling. It was written by Ruth Hobart. Mummy duck has got one... two... three... four... five... six... seven eggs! But there is a big grey egg. One little yellow duckling. Two, three, four, five, six little yellow ducklings. But one egg is different. It's big and grey. The big and grey duckling is different looks another ducklings. But the Ugly Duckling's mother and brother kind for the duckling. But another animals make a fool of the duckling. The Ugly Duckling is sad. The Ugly Duckling goes away from the farm. The Ugly Duckling goes away. He's very sad. He goes to a river. He hides. He hides all winter.
     It's spring. "What's a beautiful swan!" says a swan. 'A beautiful swan?... Where?' says the Ugly Duckling. Amaging!!! The Ugly Duckling become a beautiful swan! The Ugly Duckling isn't sad. He's happy! He isn't different. He isn't grey. And he isn't an ugly ducking! He's a beautiful white swan!

     I read this book when I was a child, but I forget this story. So I think this story is really good! I think the Ugly Duckling is sad duckling, but he is happy duckling. He is very beautiful and white. I think that swan is the most beautiful bird. He lived sad life before he became a swan, but he enjoy his life now. I like this story. Please read this book.

dessert

      I don't like sweets, because I can't eat cream and too sweet taste desserts. So I can't eat some cakes, puddings, mousses and chocolates. But I like annintofu. Annintofu isn't so sweet. When I go to Chinese restaurant, I eat annintofu evrey time. When I go to cake shop, I choose fruit annintofu. But cake shop's annintofu is too sweet for me. I like simple taste annintofu. And I like apple pie. Apple pie has cinnamon taste. I like cinnamon very much. I want to cook my favorite taste apple pie. My ideal apple pie isn't used custard sauce. I can eat custard sauce, but I like it so-so. My ideal apple pie is used only sugar and apple and cinnamon. I'm going to try to make my ideal apple pie in this Christmas. So I like not too sweet desserts. If you know delicious annintofu and apple pie, please tell me! (160 words / 7,738words)

The little mermaid wants to be a girl, because she wants to dance with a prince! But she doesn't have legs. She has a beautiful tail. So, if I were a mermaid, I wouldn't want to be a girl. At last the little mermaid and the prince became happy and the prince said "I'm a very happy man and I want to stay with you forever!" (66 words)

Chisato and Iori :-)

     I went to down town with Chisato and Iori last Friday. We ate dinner with 3 students of Kumamoto university. They are older than me, but they are very kind for me and Chisato and Iori. So we caught very enjoy the dinner. We talked about own school, own friends. We ate dinner at Ninja-yashiki. There are a lot of ninja. They said "oyobidegozaruka?" "doron!" I enjoyed the restaurant.

     Next, I and Chisato and Iori went to Bagus. Bagus is Chisato's mother's bar. We drank alcohol. I like pineapple taste alcohol. We talk and talk and talk! We enjoyed the time.
