Faith's pa says there's no room on a wagon train for Josefina, a chicken who's too tough to eat and too old to lay eggs. But Faith lives her pet. Can Josefina show Pa that she still has a few surprises left in her?I read The Josefina Story Quilt. It was written by Eleanor Coerr. This story is a sad story. There was a little girl. Her name is Faith. Josefina is her pet hen and Faith love her, but Faith's father said to faith " Don't have a hen!" But Faith can't give up having a hen, so she and her family start to have a Josefina. Faith and her family loved Josefina and Josefina loved the family, so Josefina helped the family sometimes. At last Josefina died.
